The IQOS is a heated tobacco product that works by heating tobacco sticks, also known as HEETS or HeatSticks, to generate a flavorful nicotine-containing vapor. The device heats the tobacco sticks at a lower temperature compared to traditional cigarettes, which is said to produce fewer harmful chemicals and lower levels of harmful and potentially harmful constituents. The user inserts a tobacco stick into the IQOS holder, which then heats the stick to create a vapor that the user can inhale. **

While IQOS may be considered a less harmful alternative to traditional cigarettes because it heats tobacco instead of burning it, it is still not completely risk-free. The best option for overall health is to quit smoking altogether. **
